About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the ecology division and integrate biodiversity services with construction and nursery operations.
Reporting to the Business Manager/Director, key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing budgets, timelines, and reporting
* Identifying new business and offset opportunities
* Leading ecologists and bush regeneration teams
* Managing ecology projects from planning to delivery
* Advising project teams with practical ecological solutions
* Ensuring compliance with environmental approvals and legislation
* Driving integration between ecology, construction, and nursery teams
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders
* In-depth knowledge of NSW environmental regulations
* Strong planning, budgeting, and risk management skills
* Strong leadership in ecology or environmental consulting
* A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related field
* Hands-on experience in assessments, reporting, and fieldwork
