The role
About the Company Our client is a well-established healthcare organisation providing essential services to the local community. They are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to support their finance team during a busy period. About the Role Reporting to the Finance Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day accounts payable and finance administration support, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial records. This role offers a varied workload and would suit someone who enjoys working autonomously while maintaining high levels of accuracy. The days/hours of work are flexible within Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm. The preference is for a full-time candidate. The casual hourly rate is negotiable dependant on candidate skills & experience and begins at $42 per hour. The role does require the candidate to hold a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (Employee), or the willingness to obtain both. Duties and Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and supplier payments accurately and efficiently Assist with accounts receivable functions as required Support bank reconciliations and cash management activities Process journals and maintain general ledger records Assist with month-end and financial reporting requirements Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Respond to internal and external finance-related enquiries Provide general administrative support to the finance team Skills and Experience Previous experience in accounts payable, finance administration, or bookkeeping Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Previous experience using Oracle software will be highly regarded Experience within healthcare or a similar environment is advantageous Benefits Immediate start available Flexible 3–5 day working week Supportive and collaborative team environment Potential for extension How to apply?
