Sustainable Materials Coordinator
We are seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our Perth-based team, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and components across operations.
This role involves monitoring and managing material flows, coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and working with the production team to forecast material requirements.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in materials control, inventory management, or similar roles, as well as strong understanding of inventory control principles.
About the Role
1. Monitor and manage material flows to meet operational needs.
2. Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
3. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, usage, and orders.
4. Work with the production team to forecast material requirements.
5. Perform stock checks and audits for inventory accuracy.
6. Manage storage, organization, and stock rotation to optimize space and reduce waste.
7. Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on backorders.
8. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean workspace.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* SAP experience required.
* Proven experience in materials control, inventory management, or similar roles (manufacturing or production experience is a plus).
* Strong understanding of inventory control principles.
* Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
