## Director of Indigenous Medical Education**Role type:** Flexible appointment fraction: 0.6-1.0 FTE, Continuing

**Faculty: Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences**

**Department / School:** Department of Medical Education / Melbourne Medical School

**Salary:** $152,695 - $176,065 p.a. (pro rata for part-time) plus 17% super

***Note:****This role is being advertised at Level C. However, applications from more senior Indigenous academics are also encouraged. You will guide the Wurru Wurru Health Unit, mentoring staff and embedding culturally safe learning across clinical sites. You will shape partnerships with communities and health services, advancing reconciliation and Indigenous leadership in medical education.Build and sustain partnerships with Indigenous communities and health services and contribute to scholarship on Indigenous medical education.Hold tertiary qualifications in health, education or public health and experience in health professional education. Bring demonstrated experience designing or delivering Indigenous health curricula, teaching resources, placements or assessments in tertiary settings.Build strong relationships with Indigenous communities and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, informed by knowledge of health inequities. **What we offer you!**
