The Role
We are looking for a talented
Software Engineer
who will contribute to building great products to solve our customers' problems in innovative and efficient ways, leveraging cloud development patterns to build highly scalable and self-healing solutions. What You'll Do
* Design, develop, test, and deploy software features and applications using a variety of technologies, including PHP, Java, React, and Python
* Write clean, quality, well-documented, and efficient code that is maintainable and scalable
* Work with QE as a quality coach, ensuring that all deployments are thoroughly tested, meeting our quality criteria
* Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and resolving root causes in a timely manner
* Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing
* Utilise the latest AI tools according to the business guidelines to maximise developer efficiency
What you'll bring:
* 2-5 years of experience as a software engineer or equivalent role
* Extensive experience with one or more of the following languages: PHP, Java, React, or Python
* Experience with web frameworks and libraries related to the stack (e.g., Spring Boot for Java)
* Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and agile methodologies
* Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
* Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub
* Experience with Jira, GCP or AWS
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
* Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
