This is for a Permanent Full Time appointment at 80 hours per fortnight
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the team at Karlarra House Residential Aged Care Facility at Hedland Health Campus – Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have:
1. Advanced nursing practice within the relevant practice setting.
2. Advanced skills in planning, coordination, and decision-making in the management of residents within Aged Care.
3. Well-developed team leadership and team member skills.
4. High communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in implementing and maintaining the Aged Care Quality Standards.
6. Knowledge of Australian National Aged Care (AN-ACC) funding.
7. Digital capability to enable access and use of available technology for safe patient care and information availability.
8. Current knowledge of legislative and policy obligations for Nursing practice, Public Sector, Standards, Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework, and how these impact employment and service delivery.
Position Profile:
Provides supervision and education to all clinical staff required to maintain compliance with Commonwealth Aged Care Standards. Supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in managing allocated Human and Physical Resources efficiently and effectively to ensure quality service delivery to care recipients in accordance with the Aged Care Act.
