The Senior Tech Business Development leader will drive AWS growth initiatives with strategic Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to unlock large-scale cloud transformation projects and accelerate customer migrations to AWS.

In this role, you will own the regional sales strategy and execution for APJ, working closely with an assigned GSI partner. You will develop C-Suite relationships and collaborate with AWS cross-functional stakeholders to drive pipeline growth and exceed revenue targets.

Key responsibilities include selling global multi-tower customer transformations, creating early-stage sales opportunities, building and expanding AWS relationships with top GSIs/SIs, and executing go-to-market models for migration, modernization, workforce transformation, and asset dispensation.

You will interface with internal leadership and external customers at the executive CxO level and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Field Sales, Partner Development, Finance, Marketing, Training, Operations, and Legal.

Ideal candidates have direct sales experience, GSI/Partner experience, end-to-end Customer Cloud Transformation, and ITO experience. They must possess strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer personas and align Executive stakeholders with differing goals.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


1. 8+ years of cloud sales, business development, partner, and/or alliances management experience
2. 8+ years of experience with GSIs/SIs and/or large complex enterprise-sales organizations selling/managing large multi-million dollar partner programs
3. Demonstrated track record of success with sales/channel teams
4. Extensive experience in building and leading teams in a matrixed operating model
5. Excellent verbal & written communication, demonstrated senior stakeholder management experience, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


6. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
7. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
8. Understanding of digital transformation drivers and the technology ecosystem that supports them
9. Experience and familiarity with the AWS platform, products, solutions, and capabilities
