Contract Role until 30 June 2027 | $70 per hour + Super | Brisbane Based with Regional Travel
Are you an experienced advisor with a background in infrastructure, asset management, or project services?
An exciting prospect has arisen for a
Security Fencing Advisor to join a government work unit dedicated to Disaster, Emergency, and School Security within the Infrastructure Services Division.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing operational and specialist advice and support for the delivery of fencing projects under the Security Upgrades Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site visits to schools to develop the scope of works for security fencing capital works projects.
- Developing and delivering comprehensive scope of works and design documentation to contractors for fence installation.
- Collaborating with school principals to ensure project standards align with school operations requirements.
- Managing operational issues to meet identified project outcomes and timelines.
- Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven knowledge, skills, and experience in related infrastructure, planning, asset management, or project services.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex environment.
- A current valid Queensland Driver’s Licence is required.
- Willingness to undertake significant
regional travel, including overnight absences, via department vehicles and plane.
