Due to expansion, this team have an opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join in a full-time, permanent capacity based on site in Beenleign working on major capital work and water assets. What you'll do
The Senior Site Supervisor is integral to the seamless delivery of construction projects across water assets and networks in the Logan Region. Through day-to-day management of subcontractors and work crews, the Site Senior Supervisor directs, prioritises and coordinates works to support schedule, budget and safety outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinate and schedule resources, plant and equipment, travel, and materials across designated sites.
* Manage the day-to-day activities of work crews and subcontractors whilst fostering a strong safety culture, consideration for environmental and local impacts.
* Develop strong stakeholder relationships and participate in consultative processes impacting project delivery and value for money outcomes.
* Ensure Downer standards are implemented and upheld across sites relating to legislation, community engagement, risk assessments, safety, incident and near miss reporting.

What we're looking for
* Qualification in frontline management or equivalent
* 5 – 10 years supervisory experience in the civil construction, piping, renewals and water sector.
* Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors, site safety and environmental management, development of construction program and quality control management.
* A clear communicator, with strong leadership qualities.
