This role is pivotal in ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* To lead a team of educators and develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality individualised educational programs that cater to diverse learning needs.
* To foster strong relationships with parents, staff, students, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students with specific learning requirements.
* To spearhead whole school leadership around differentiation of the curriculum and assessment tasks to ensure inclusive education.
* To oversee data collection for National Consistency in State Teaching (NCCD) and ensure compliance with Disability Standards for Educators (2005) and relevant Catholic Schools requirements.
* To collaborate with the senior leadership team to devise and execute strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, driving academic excellence and social growth.
Requirements
* A seasoned educational leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, commitment to Catholic education, and clear understanding of Catholic schools' vision and mission.
* Proven qualifications and experience in special education, coupled with exemplary classroom practice, enabling the development, implementation, and monitoring of high-quality individualised educational programs.
