Job Summary
The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading the sales and business development efforts for the Southwest region. This role requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for additional products/services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a consultative selling approach, and problem-solving abilities.

Main Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
* Proactively reach out to customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for additional products/services.
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any issues or questions.
* Conduct periodic account review meetings with key customers to ensure satisfaction.
* Gather customer feedback and relay insights back to internal teams.
* Negotiate custom solutions or package deals to retain important accounts.
* Utilise CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales tools to effectively manage your account portfolio.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a customer-facing sales, account management, or customer service role.
* Waste management industry experience or similar desired but not required.
* Willingness to travel on a regular basis.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Consultative selling approach to uncover customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Problem-solving skills to craft creative solutions for customers.
* Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce) and sales productivity tools.
* Self-motivated with the drive to proactively engage customers.
