About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, Hospital @ Home offers an exceptional chance to utilise your advanced clinical skills and develop new clinical skills while adhering to professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies. Duties for the role will include: Direct/indirect patient/client care: Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to infants, children, adults, and their families, addressing multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds, Autonomous worker providing hospital level care in the patients' own home, Recognising and responding to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately, Contribution to effective operation of the unit: Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and seamless delivery of services, Support of health setting services: Actively participate in the ongoing improvement and enhancement of healthcare services, Education: Engage in continuous professional development to maintain cutting-edge knowledge and skills You will have the ability to prioritise workload, be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting. Demonstrating commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care, you will have proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care. About you: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, Advanced assessment skills, advanced wound management experience, VAC Therapy Knowledge and experience with PICC and ports, venepuncture, IV cannulation, RN/M1: At least 3 years post graduate experience, in an acute hospital setting, Demonstrated competence in acute medical and surgical nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards, RN/M2C: Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience, applicant must have completed personal reclassification from RN1, which is relevant to HITH and approved by HITH management to be employed as RN2 Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, and less experienced registered nurses Current SA Drivers Licence.
