Business Development Manager – NSW

Mind Spirits & Co. is expanding into New South Wales and we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to establish and grow our NSW presence.
Founded in a humble Richmond garage, we've grown into a national distributor known for sustainability, premium service, and accessible value. We supply 200–300 venues weekly across Australia and are ready for our next growth phase.
The Opportunity
* Manage an existing portfolio of ~100 active accounts
* Drive new, profitable growth across NSW
* Clear pathway to transition from solo performer to the State Leader as the team scales
* Operate with high autonomy and minimal bureaucracy
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Distribution:
* Secure high-quality on- and off-premise accounts
* Increase rate of sale with strong margin and Gross Profit discipline
Relationship Management:
* Build long-term partnerships across retail, on-premise, and off-premise
State Strategy:
* Develop and execute NSW sales plans and rhythms
* Build NSW into a top-performing territory
Future Leadership:
* Help shape the culture, structure, and team as NSW grows
About You
* 3+ years' experience in the wine industry (secondary interest in mixology highly regarded)
* Minimum 3 years' experience specifically in wine distribution operations is required
* Strong existing trade relationships in NSW
* Commercially sharp with a growth mindset
Valid Australian work rights are essential for this position
Remuneration & Benefits
* Base salary: $85,000 plus monthly sales commissions + Car
