There are multiple Program Administrator
positions within the Graduate School of
Business. Each Program Administrator works
in a matrix of teams, supporting assigned
programs and their staff, participants and
corporate and government clients. The
primary responsibilities of the position holder
will involve the provision of student and
administrative support to professional
development and executive education courses.
This position reports to the Program Services
Coordinator for supervision, workload
management and for Performance Planning
and Review (PPR).
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Provide accurate and timely advice and
exceptional customer service to prospective
and program participants throughout all
stages of their QUT learning experience.
- Deliver program support services to internal
and external clients.
- Support the marketing of assigned
programs, drafting content for print and web
presence and participate in information
evenings and industry exhibition events.
- Support the delivery and customer
experience of assigned programs by
creating effective communication.
- Coordinate program events, including
workshops, induction, graduation and other
program activities.
administrative processes using QUT
systems for the full range of student and
academic enquiries and the student life
- In consultation with the Academic Director
and Learning Design Associate, coordinate
and update curriculum documents such as
unit and/or module outlines and study
plans.
- Coordinate the preparation of result
submissions and approvals and
communicate relevant processes and
timelines to teaching staff.
- Prepare sessional staff appointments and
work orders and provide a scope of works
to staff and contractors.
- Proactively work with the team and
contribute to a culture of high quality and
continuous improvement.
- Make payments to suppliers using a QUT
corporate card and/or arrange payment
through Finance Resources.
- Support operational activities in the
Executive Centre as required.
- Implement and administer University policy
with respect to equitable access to
education and workplace health and safety.
- Compliance with health and safety policies,
procedures, hazard reporting and safe work
practices
To ensure job flexibility the successful
appointee may be required to:
- perform any other duties as nominated by
the University consistent with the relevant
classification descriptors detailed in the
Enterprise Agreement. Staff undertaking
any new duties will receive training;
- participate in job rotation or multiskilling in
consultation with their supervisor;

**Type of appointment**
We are seeking to make an appointment on a
fixed-term, full time basis for 12 months.

1. Education, training and/or relevant
experience equivalent to completion of a
degree.
2. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a
client outcome-focussed team in a diverse

3. Demonstrated proactive organisational
skills, delivering work with excellent
attention to detail, organisational and
problem solving skills, including the ability

4. Demonstrated ability to confidently and
efficiently provide advice and interpretation
of policy and procedures associated with
program management.
5. Demonstrated written and oral
communication skills including the ability to
effectively communicate and negotiate with
clients, members of the business
community and University staff.
6. Demonstrated digital literacy including
experience in the use of Microsoft Office,
student/client management databases and
learning management systems.
**Remuneration and Benefits**
The classification for this position is Higher
Education Worker Level 5 (HEW5) which has
an annual remuneration range of $83,609 to
$94,271 pa. Which is inclusive of an annual
salary range of $70,650 to $79,660 pa, 17%
superannuation, and leave loading.
