As a Communication Officer, you will work within a small team on aged care reforms, programs and initiatives to create better aged care services and a better standard of care for older people in Australia.
This position requires media and/or communications experience, along with tertiary qualifications in strategic communications, public relations, marketing, digital communications or a related field.
To be successful you will have strong writing, editing and content creation skills. You will have strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and perform in a high-paced environment.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Work with your Senior Communications Officer to support the development and delivery of communication strategies and associated communication products.
- Write/edit content for a broad range of communication channels, including web, social media, digital channels, media and public relations activities, marketing and information products.
- Support the production of ministerial media products such as media releases, talking points and speeches.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate organisation, time management and attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects to deliver desired outcomes.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to work in a high-paced environment.
