Position Description Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, and working among a close knit payroll team, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to: Assisting with end to end weekly & fortnightly payroll processing Processing new starters and terminations Manage payroll inbox Calculation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation payments Reconciliation of payroll accounts and reporting as required Develop and strive for ongoing process improvement to improve efficiency Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders Respond to employees queries in a timely and professional manner Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role as well as the following attributes: A passion for completing timely and accurate payroll Willingness to learn and desire to grow with the business Self motivated and can-do mindset Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude Strong attention to detail and positive working approach Ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively among a team environment Additional Benefits Growing organisation with great opportunities for staff Supportive management and excellent training provided Work among a close knit team who enjoy working together Office located close to home in Preston with onsite parking Fantastic culture with a supportive and enjoyable working environment Commence in your next role as soon as you're able!
