TRILITY is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of our asset management program in the Townsville region, North Queensland.
The role
As a Project Manager – Assets, you will manage the delivery of the agreed asset management program through the execution of Replacement and Refurbishment (R&R) and Capital projects for our Operations contract.
This will be achieved through a combination of managing your own projects as well as mentoring and supervising other ‘Project Managers’ within the Operations team on their projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery of agreed R&R and Capital projects for the Operations team, including reporting and resource planning.
2. Coordination of resources used during all stages of the program delivery.
3. Interfacing and communicating with the Operations teams in planning and executing projects.
4. Preparation of project scopes and budgets.
5. Technical input into project design and delivery.
6. Management of the Project Works database.
7. Assist with updating asset management plans including WOL plans & costings.
8. Assist with business development and Operations growth opportunities.
9. Assist with the development and review of TRILITY’s project delivery framework.
10. Deliver project reporting in-line with contractual requirements.
11. Potentially investigate and/or deliver other asset management related projects on other TRILITY sites.
What we are looking for
1. Degree or other tertiary qualification or more than 5 years vocational experience.
2. Project management skills including delivery of projects, managing design processes, compliance, planning and reporting, commissioning etc.
3. Strong tender management and project delivery skills including managing complex projects.
4. Competent skills in using specialised project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
5. Careful time-management to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong written and oral presentation skills.
7. Technical understanding of the water and wastewater sector would be highly regarded.
