Job Title
A specialist role is available for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to join our team in a permanent part-time position. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to complement existing commitments while contributing to a supportive, collaborative, and highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled specialist oral and maxillofacial surgeon to provide quality patient care within the scope of a publicly funded dental service. This includes patients with disabilities and complex medical histories.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, managing patients within their competency and experience levels, and undertaking clinical supervision/direction/support of surgical registrars and house dentists.
Requirements
* Specialist qualification recognised with AHPRA.
* Knowledge in the management of dental public health programs.
* Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervising clinical duties of staff.
* Experience in treating clients with high needs.
