Offaly Civil Engineering is recruiting an experienced Civil Supervisor for projects in the Moreton Bay Region.
Responsibilities
* Oversee construction of sewerage pump stations, sewer gravity mains and rising mains.
* Manage civil crews in earthworks, utilities, concrete works and roadworks.
* Set and check heights from survey benchmarks using dumpy levels, spinning lasers and pipe lasers.
* Read and interpret construction plans.
* Liaise with clients on site and work independently.
* Facilitate the implementation of quality and safety management documents and procedures.
* Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety.
* Lead projects to achieve milestones with a hands‐on approach.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience with sewerage pump stations, sewer gravity mains and rising mains.
* Strong experience with potable water infrastructure; Unity Water experience highly desirable.
* Experience managing civil crews.
* Knowledge of setting/checking heights from survey benchmarks.
* Proficiency in using levels, lasers and plan interpretation.
* Capability to implement quality and safety related documents.
* High level commitment to occupational health & safety.
* Prefer candidates with an excavator, loader or skid steer operating ticket.
