About the Role: An opportunity is available for a dedicated and motivated Physiotherapist to join an experienced aged care team. This role suits individuals passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a genuine impact in the lives of elderly clients. The role involves providing treatment and developing management plans for clients with chronic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. You will conduct manual handling assessments and evaluate clients' functional capacity to ensure safe care practices. Initial assessments will be completed to inform care planning and guide interventions, with clinical referrals prepared as needed for further medical or allied health support. Additionally, you will facilitate community referrals to ensure ongoing care and support. Implementing fall prevention strategies will be a key part of the role, along with delivering education on risk management to both clients and staff. Prescribing appropriate mobility aids and clinical equipment will be necessary based on individual client needs. Benefits: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum (depending on experience) Flexible working hours and days, including the option to work on Saturdays. No shift work or on-call requirements.
