As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Purchase and sales ledger
* Reconciling bank accounts daily and managing all associated transactions
* Posting purchase ledger invoices and processing supplier payments
* Handling expense and mileage claims with accuracy and correct documentation
* Producing weekly cash forecasts and monthly variance reports
* Managing credit card statements and reconciling receipts
* Chasing outstanding customer payments and resolving related queries
As an Accounts Assistant, your experience will include:
* Previous experience within finance administration or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Understanding of daily financial processes including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, and month end activities
* Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and finance systems
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Confident communication skills when liaising with internal teams and suppliers
