This role is a Senior Executive Band One, with a total remuneration package starting at $239,251 to $264,197, including superannuation, commensurate with experience.
About the Role
Infrastructure NSW is seeking a Director (SPI SEB 1) to lead policy development, drive implementation, and coordinate cross‐government efforts to address key strategic challenges in the infrastructure sector, aligned with NSW Government priorities. The role will predominantly focus on infrastructure issues related to housing supply, enabling infrastructure and modern methods of construction.
Some of the key responsibilities for the role include:
* Drive definition of the scope of work, deliverables, and work plans in a fast‐paced environment with evolving workstreams
* Draw on technical expertise relating to infrastructure project design, delivery and/or procurement processes to provide advice and inform policy development and implementation
* Engage with senior stakeholders to inform the team's work, influence related workstreams, and identify inter‐related activities to align efforts across government
* Establish and maintain productive working relationships and networks with stakeholders from NSW Government, industry and other jurisdictions to promote collaboration on policy matters
* Draw on networks to remain informed about key infrastructure‐related initiatives in NSW Government and industry to inform the team's work and advice
About You
You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or bring substantial experience in a comparable role, with a proven understanding of the NSW Government infrastructure project lifecycle, from initial planning through to practical completion. You will also possess a strong understanding of the policy and industry landscape relating to the net zero transition in infrastructure across NSW Government.
