We have the opportunity for a Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the Kiama Leisure Centre.
Key responsibilities as Gymnastics Instructor…
As Gymnastics Instructor you will work to ensure the efficient operation of the centres gymnastics program and this includes birthday parties, fun days and school bookings. You will be required to program and supervise gymnastics activities for children aged from 6 months to 13 years.

* Base hourly rate of pay from $19.78 to $40.05
* Rates are inclusive of 25% casual loading
* Plus 12% superannuation
* Penalties paid in accordance with the award including penalties for weekend work.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
It’s essential that you have experience engaging with children and providing instruction techniques for children aged from six months to thirteen years. You will be experienced with coaching gymnastics, have a knowledge of gymnastics principles and be able to set-up and use gymnastic apparatus.
In addition to this you will need:
* Kinder Gym Accreditation
* A current First Aid Certificate.
Although not essential it would be beneficial to have any of the following:
* Intermediate WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics) or Beginners (or willing to obtain intermediate Accreditation within three months)
* To be trained as a Gymnast and/or have competed in Gymnastic competitions.
Pre-Employment Checks
This is a child-related position. You will be required to provide Council with your valid and current Working with Children Check (WWCC) number as a condition of your employment. In addition, your employment will be subject to a National Criminal Record Check and Pre-employment Medical to determine your suitability for employment.
