Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you\'ve imagined.In this role, you\'llWork within our Engineering & System Integrity Team of Sydney Trains, assisting in the provision of authoritative expert engineering innovation, planning, advice and design in the relevant electrical engineering discipline.Assist in the preparation and evaluation of technical feasibility studies and contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the relevant electrical systems infrastructure database to ensure Electrical Engineering requirements are met.Assist the Principal Engineer and Technical Specialists in providing advice and services to internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality, timely and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.Identify, develop and communicate engineering innovations relating to the relevant electrical sub-discipline technology, to facilitate safe and commercially smart solutions to Sydney Trains engineering problems.Identify issues related to technical specifications, budgets, safety, quality, environmental, standards and resourcing, following established procedures to minimise impact on design project delivery.Assist in tender preparation for Request For Tender (RFT) submissions, through the provision of expert technical advice throughout the process.Demonstrate understanding of risk management, electrical design and asset management, construction and commissioning.Understand relevant legislation, codes of practice, standards and regulations relating to Electrical Engineering.Hold or acquire knowledge in the design and planning of electrical infrastructure.Responsibilities (project-specific)Support Construction Engineering activities and assist the project in achieving deliverables and design objectives.Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects and services engineers on design issues under supervision of a senior engineer.Assist tender and project documentation, including preparation and review of technical content for submissions.Contribute to design to deliver quality, timely and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.QualificationsTer tiary qualification in civil, electrical, mechanical or mechatronics disciplines.Knowledge of electrical infrastructure design, risk management, asset management, construction and commissioning.Ability to interpret legislation, codes of practice, standards and regulations relevant to Electrical Engineering.Contact and Additional InformationFor more information about this role, please contact This is an in-person, on-site role.Aboriginal people and people living with disability are supported throughout the recruitment process and at work.Job details: Pay - $102,977 - $119,266 a year; Type - Permanent Full-Time; Location - Auburn, NSW, AU, 2144#J-18808-Ljbffr
