The Payroll Team Leader reports the Manager and will take responsibility for delivering the daily payroll operations. More specifically your role will include, however may not be limited to:
* Supervise the payroll team (2)
* Be the \"go-to\" person for all things payroll
* End-to-End processing of payroll for a portfolio of employees - Australia & New Zealand
* Oversee any complex payroll issues (redundancies, long service leave calculations, and back pay adjustments)
* Ensure strict compliance with all relevant legislation
* Identify areas for process improvement
* Adhoc duties as required
You will be a proven Payroll professional with experience in both hands-on payroll processing as well as mentoring/coaching others. You will have outstanding communication skills, customer service and stakeholder management.
It is essential that you have a number of years experience running end-to-end payroll and you have some exposure to running New Zealand payroll.
