Safety and Sustainability Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety and Sustainability professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our integrated safety, health, environment, and quality management system across our Central Queensland sites.
* Support the Safety Manager and Sustainability Specialist in all aspects of SHEMS application at Fishermans Landing, East End Mine, and Iveragh mine sites.
* Conduct work site inspections and auditing on SHE related matters.
* Participate in safety, health, and environmental meetings.
* Act as Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator (RRTWC) for work and non-work-related injuries.
* Liaise with medical practitioners, employees, and management to formulate return to work plans.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Safety, Health, or Environment, minimum 2 years' experience in applying and using SHE management systems, and strong verbal, influencing, and negotiating skills.
