Prospero Teaching is partnering with a well-regarded co‐educational secondary school in Western Melbourne to recruit a Health & Physical Education (HPE) Teacher for Years 7–12, including VCE HPE. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate HPE teacher to join a supportive, student‐focused school community.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver HPE curriculum across Years 7–12, including VCE HPE
* Support NAPLAN preparation and assessment initiatives
* Contribute to students' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
* Collaborate with a dynamic and innovative teaching team
* Participate in extracurricular sporting programs and events
HPE / PE Facilities
* Fully equipped gymnasium and fitness centre
* Outdoor sports fields and courts for multiple sports
* Access to a swimming pool for curriculum activities
* Dedicated spaces for health and wellbeing programs
Requirements for this HPE teaching role
* Current or eligible VIT registration
* Full working rights in Australia
* Relevant safeguarding certificates or willingness to complete
* Knowledge of Compass would be advantageous
* Experience teaching HPE across secondary levels (VCE preferred)
* Strong commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and engagement
