Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Content and Social Media, the Video Content Creator will support JB Hi-Fi’s video content program. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the role involves research, scripting, video editing, and project management, requiring storytelling, editing skills, and end-to-end project oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Script Writing
* Create engaging, educational scripts on consumer electronics, trends, and categories in JB’s authentic tone.
* Ensure content is well-researched, informative, and tailored for various formats.
Video Content Creation
* Develop and produce videos from concept to post-production, including shooting, editing, and graphics.
* Maintain style consistency and work with teams to publish content.
* Present on camera and produce content for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
* Understand platform-specific best practices for engagement.
Project Management
* Manage project timelines and coordinate multiple projects to meet deadlines.
* Communicate progress to stakeholders and ensure alignment with brand objectives.
General
* Build relationships across teams and support ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Proven project management, organizational, and time management skills.
* Experience in product research, script writing, and digital content production.
* 3+ years in end-to-end video creation, including shooting and editing.
* Proficiency with Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
* Audio production and basic animated effects skills.
* Experience in fast-paced, results-driven environments; retail experience is a plus.
* Pop culture knowledge is a bonus.
