Accounts Receivable Clerk
Metromix Pty Ltd is a concrete and quarrying company servicing the construction materials industry in the Sydney, Blue Mountains and Hunter regions.
A full-time position of Accounts receivable has become available within our Head Office division based at Parramatta. Immediate starter (highly preferred).
Key Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable Clerk
* Allocation of daily bank statement to the customer accounts
* Generating and sending invoices to customers.
* To contact customers within the required timeframe to ensure all our invoices are received and paid on time
* Reconciliations of customer & COD accounts
* Tracking outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments.
* Sending payment reminders and communicating with customers about outstanding balances.
* Processing credit card for customer payments
* To enter all credit and debit notes
* To ensure accurate and timely processing of the relevant paperwork for credit notes for Account Customers and given to the appropriate management.
* To follow up queries from managers and allocators relating to customers.
* Resolve stop supply issues with allocators and customers.
* To ensure all the filing is up to date and accurate on a weekly basis.
* To assist with month end and year end closing processes.
* Assisting in generating and sending invoices to customers.
* Escalating overdue payments to the Credit Manager as required
* Support the Credit Manager as required
* To assist customer accounts within the credit limits
Qualifications / Personal Attributes
* Have a minimum 2-3+ years experience in collections / recovery role
* Are experienced in managing a high value and volume customer portfolio
* Exhibit strong and effective time and diary management skills and experience
* Can deliver remarkable customer service and exceptional recovery skills
* Possess a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situations
* Solid reconciliation skills.
* Proficient in data entry.
* Solid Microsoft office skills (Word/Excel).
* Eye for detail and accuracy.
* Sound communication skills (written/verbal).
A remuneration package will be offered commensurate with experience.
