We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to support our workshop duties in a permanent full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist mechanics with maintenance and repairs on small equipment, trucks, and light vehicles.
* Perform designated tasks as outlined by the Workshop Supervisor.
* Undertake general duties as required.
Requirements:
* Own reliable transport and a Western Australian manual drivers' license.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be self-motivated.
* Require own basic hand tools.
* Excellent safety attitude, striving to maintain and improve the workplace culture.
* Possess good mechanical aptitude and general knowledge.
* Be able to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a trade's assistant.
* Current forklift ticket or ability to obtain.
* HR License or equivalent.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
