We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime Brand Manager-Retail to join our friendly and skilled Marketing team based at our Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager-Retail, this key appointment is responsible for leading the growth of our iconic and much-loved Retail brands, responsible for end-to-end management including brand strategy, identifying growth opportunities, innovation and delivering integrated marketing plans that drive differentiation with commercial and market impact.
We are entering an exciting new phase of growth, and therefore seek a passionate, driven and commercially astute Brand Manager with the ability to continue to challenge, influence and embrace our evolution as we continually lift the bar to navigate our exciting go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of the annual brand plan including generating new growth ideas with supporting rationale on the benefit to the business
Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing communication and customer activation plans, collaborating with digital, customer and shopper marketing, and sales teams to drive market share growth
Analyse and understand vitamins and supplements market dynamics and future trends, brand performance consumer insights and competitive activity to inform action and decision making
Identify and recommend opportunities and actions to drive market share and sales profitably
Understand consumer and customer needs, leveraging data and insights to inform communications, activation plans and innovation go to market planning
Work with Innovation Manager and cross functional team to develop innovation business cases, go to market plans, and deliver Innovation
Provide pricing recommendations to meet revenue and profitability goals in conjunction with Marketing Manager
Review and optimise portfolio to deliver against strategic goals
Manage projects and costs to agreed marketing budget and timelines, and complete post analysis to inform optimization recommendations
Skills and experience
Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
Experience working in FMCG or Pharmacy Channels, highly desired, or FMCG broadly
A solid grounding in coordinating digital and social media as part of an integrated approach
Demonstrated experience in New Innovation strategy, own and lead project design through to go-to market execution- highly desired
Demonstrated experience in project design pricing and forecasting- highly desired
Analytical and financial acumen – ability to analyse sales figures, market data, and P&Ls and translate insights into action- experience working with Circana, IQVIA or Nielsen scan data reporting
Great interpersonal and communication skills that can scale to a range of different audiences
