We'relooking for compassionate and committed Placement SupportWorkers, to work closely with foster carers, children andsupport services to ensure placements are stable, supportive andtailored to each child's unique needs. You work will help buildbrighter futures by fostering strong relationships, advocating forchildren's wellbeing and delivery trauma-informed, person-centredcare that truly makes a difference.
Whatwill a typical day look like?
* Engage with carersto support children in all aspects of life, at home and in thewider community.
* Useobservational and evaluation skills to contribute to theassessment of children and carers needs.
* Workcollaboratively with Child Safety Services, community agenciesand elders to establish and maintain sound workingrelationships.
* Provide on callservices through a scheduled roster.
* Identify carertraining and developmental needs to ensure the needs of thechildren are met.
MandatoryRequirements:
* Certificate IVlevel or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) withsignificant experience in a similar field.
