About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Leader – Quality, Compliance & Governance, this role supports the organisation’s compliance, audit and governance functions.
You will ensure NEWCHAPTER continues to meet NDIS Practice Standards, regulatory reporting obligations, and internal quality requirements.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in structured environments, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee incident management processes and regulatory reporting (including 1- and 5-day NDIS notifications)
* Maintain compliance registers and quality systems
* Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes
* Ensure restrictive practice reporting aligns with NDIS and Office of the Senior Practitioner requirements
* Participate in incident investigations and compliance reviews
* Contribute to policy and procedure development
* Promote WHS standards across the organisation
* Educate staff on compliance, incident reporting and restrictive practices
* Complete monthly governance reporting
What We’re Looking For
* Understanding of NDIS Rules, Practice Standards and Code of Conduct
* Experience in incident reporting and restrictive practice compliance (or strong willingness to learn)
* Ability to interpret Behaviour Support Plans
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
* Confidence working within regulatory frameworks
* Ability to manage competing priorities
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Working with Vulnerable People Registration & NDIS Worker Screening
