Are you a highly skilled Unified Communications Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft 365? We are seeking an experienced professional for a six-month contract with a key federal government department, starting on or around September 8th, 2025.
In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for the full administration and management of our unified communications platforms, with a core focus on ensuring a secure and efficient environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including user and license management.
* Manage and support the Microsoft Teams platform, including policies, settings, and advanced calling features.
* Engineer and manage telephony hardware, with a specific focus on Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
* Administer and maintain SharePoint Online, including site and permission management.
* Manage and support the Exchange Online environment, including mail flow and mailbox administration.
* Configure and manage device policies for iOS and Android mobile devices.
* Administer and maintain the FortiMail security platform.
About You
* You have proven experience as a Unified Communications Engineer or in a similar role.
* You have strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online administration.
* You're experienced with Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and telephony hardware.
* Knowledge of SharePoint Online and FortiMail is highly desirable.
* You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
