We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hard-working Food Truck Manager to take the reins of our busy mobile kitchen. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid kitchen experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exciting specials, leading day-to-day food truck operations, and assisting with occasional shifts in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the food truck from setup to pack down
* Organise and correspond with potential clients for events
* Prepare and cook high-quality menu items, including weekly specials
* Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
* Collaborate with the wider kitchen and management team
* Assist in the restaurant as required
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive team environment
Requirements:
* Previous kitchen experience is essential
* Must have a full driver's licence and be confident to drive a food truck
* Proven ability to work unsupervised and manage responsibilities independently
* Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
* Creativity and initiative to develop new menu specials
* Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday
* Punctual, dependable, and positive under pressure
* Food safety certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
