About the service
Bertram Primary School Helping Hands Network is looking for a Coordinator to lead a team of educators in providing engaging services for children ages 4-12 years old. Bertram Primary School is located in Bertram and is one of our larger services fit with a number of established Educators. As Coordinator, you are required to work Monday - Friday, 6:30 - 9:00 AM (BSC) and 2:35 - 6:00 PM (ASC). You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centred program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids
Strong and transparent communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
Australian work rights
Hold a Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care or
Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioural science or nursing
