About the Role – Operations & Area Manager
Live Well Health Clubs is seeking a highly capable Operations & Area Manager to oversee and drive performance across multiple locations.
This role sits directly beneath the Director and acts as a key operational extension of leadership. You will lead through execution, accountability, and standards, with the ability to jump into any role when required, while also operating strategically across the business.
You will be responsible for end-to-end operations, leadership, and growth across three locations, including direct management of Club Managers, involvement in new site builds and launches, and oversight of events and community initiatives. Weekend availability is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Area Management
* Oversee daily operations across multiple club locations
* Act as an operational leader and assistant to the Director
* Ensure operational consistency, systems, and standards across all sites
* Step into any operational role when required (sales, service, team support)
* Support new site builds, pre-sales, launches, and operational handovers
Club Manager Leadership
* Directly manage, coach, and performance-manage Club Managers
* Set expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for Club Managers
* Support Club Managers in people leadership, operations, sales, and service
* Conduct regular performance reviews and development planning
Sales Leadership & KPI Ownership
* Own sales performance across all locations
* Set, manage, and be accountable for personal KPIs and team KPIs
* Drive new membership sales, retention strategies, and revenue growth
* Lead prospect calling, retention calling, lead follow-up, and external activations
* Ensure sales targets are consistently achieved or exceeded
Marketing, Events & Community Growth
* Oversee and support social media and local marketing execution
* Collaborate on marketing strategies to drive membership growth
* Plan, manage, and oversee club events, launches, and community activations
* Ensure events align with brand standards and commercial objectives
Team Leadership & Department Oversight
* Recruit, train, coach, and performance-manage teams across locations
* Oversee and support:
* Personal Trainers
* Group Fitness
* Child-minding Services
* Martial Arts Department
* Build a strong leadership pipeline and high-performance culture
Service, Standards & Compliance
* Deliver a premium, consistent member experience
* Maintain cleaning, presentation, and operational standards
* Oversee WH&S compliance and risk management
* Manage and operate:
* Juice Bar
* Recovery Centre
* Handle escalated member inquiries with exceptional service standards

Skills & Experience
* Proven ability to exceed sales targets personally and through teams
* Minimum 2 years management experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality
* Experience leading leaders (e.g. Club Managers or senior staff)
* Strong operational, commercial, and people leadership skills
* Ability to operate strategically and hands-on
* Certificate III & IV in Fitness (preferred, not essential)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Current Working With Children Check
* Current Driver Licence
* Flexibility to work varied hours and travel between locations
