About the role:
Aurizon is looking for a qualified and experienced Boilermaker / Welders to join our Murrin Murrin Operations in WA on a 2 & 1 Roster flying out of Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Aurizon's mobile plant assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will work within a structured maintenance program, responding to planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding Aurizon's commitment to safety and operational excellence.
* To conduct routine corrective maintenance and fault repair
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical andoperational specifications
* Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to assetcondition, maintenance programs and costing systems
* Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
* Progress the implementation and application of work procedures andpractices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.
About you:
* Fabrication Trade Certificate or formal equivalent
* Substantial level of skill in the repair, maintenance and overhaul of heavy industrial plant
* High level of knowledge of functions, defects and fault finding with equipment
* High level of skill in interpreting technical instructions and drawings
* Strong commitment to safety
* Current unrestricted WA driving licence
