6‐Month role responsible for process improvement and system optimisation. Partner closely with finance users and technical teams to improve processes.

Our client is a large, complex organisation with a strong focus on governance, compliance and continuous improvement. The finance function plays a critical role in supporting stakeholders across the organisation by providing reliable systems, accurate data and robust financial controls.
Responsibilities
* Partner closely with finance users and technical teams to improve processes.
* Provide expert support for core finance applications, acting as the subject‐matter expert for assigned systems and modules.
* Support daily, monthly and year‐end finance processing to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
* Maintain and configure finance systems, including chart of accounts, business units, workflows and user access.
* Monitor and reconcile system interfaces between internal and external applications.
* Respond to complex system and user issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors where required.
* Ensure finance systems comply with internal policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards.
* Develop and maintain high‐quality system documentation, user guides and process materials.
* Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, data accuracy and process efficiency.
* Support finance system projects, including design, testing, implementation and post‐go‐live support.
Qualifications
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of core finance processes including General Ledger, AP, AR and Purchasing.
* Hands‐on experience supporting or managing large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).
* Solid analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data flows.
* Experience producing transparent, structured system and process documentation.
