Auskron is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the company's accounting and reporting obligations.
Duties:
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Processing payroll on a weekly basis, including PAYG, superannuation, leave provisions, reconciling, and reporting
* Maintaining accurate data in the accounting systems (MYOB)
* Performing month-end reconciliations, including bank, credit cards, and purchases with all supporting information
* Lodging BAS
* Managing insurances
* Assisting with the Fixed Asset Register
* Preparing ad-hoc reports to assist management decision-making and operational efficiency
* Other duties as required
Qualifications:
* Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
* Intermediate to advanced MYOB skills
* Accurate data entry skills
* Ability to multitask
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent business experience in an accounting environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines
* Effective communication skills with a wide range of personalities
