We are partnering with a well-established electronic security business to recruit an experienced
Service Coordinator
for their Melbourne team.
This organisation has been operating for over 40 years and is highly regarded within the electronic security industry, recognised for its service quality, strong customer relationships, and award-winning work. Their clients are in the commercial and education sectors, and the company delivers critical security solutions across Australia.
About the role
The Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of service operations. You will work closely with the Service Manager, technicians, contractors, and clients to keep jobs moving efficiently and service levels high.
Using
SimPRO
and
Microsoft 365
, your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating and scheduling technicians across multiple sites and service jobs
* Ensuring jobs received via SimPRO and email are attended to
* Prioritising customer and job-critical emails
* Supporting technician experience by efficiently managing travel, job information, and equipment
* Invoicing completed jobs to support consistent cashflow
* Quoting customers for minor service-related adds, moves, and changes
* Liaising with contractors and assisting with minor sales and stock management
About you
* Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or similar role
* Experience using
SimPRO
(highly regarded, but not essential)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with customers and technicians
