THE ROLE
We are seeking experienced NDT Technicians to join our team in Gladstone, Queensland.
As an NDT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of critical industrial assets across the mining and manufacturing sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and eddy current inspections
Interpret inspection results and provide detailed technical reports to clients
Ensure all testing is carried out in compliance with relevant Australian Standards and industry best practices
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to the highest standards
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop efficient testing strategies
Provide on-site support and guidance to other team members as required
SELECTION CRITERIA
Formal qualifications in NDT or a related technical discipline
3-5 years' experience as an NDT Technician, preferably in the mining or manufacturing sectors
Proficiency in Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Radiography, or Eddy Current testing methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards
A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
Current AINDT or PCN NDT qualifications
IRATA Rope Access qualification – highly regarded
Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Gas Test Atmospheres
Valid Manual Driver's Licence
Current Medipass, QAL, and/or RTA/Yarwun site inductions are advantageous
Construction White Card
