Job Title: Medical Oncologist
We are seeking a specialist medical oncologist to join our team at a tertiary-level hospital in Darwin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to public hospital outpatients in the subspecialty of medical oncology.
The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal communities. We are affiliated with Flinders University and have an onsite Medical School.
The role involves working closely with other specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. It also includes participating in education and training programs for medical students and junior doctors.
To apply for this role, you must be registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in medical oncology or be on RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship. You must also hold or be eligible for FRACP or be assessed by RACP as substantially comparable.
