POSITION PURPOSE
Queensland Ballet is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join their thriving Community, Education and Dance Health team in Mackay. The Regional Teaching Artist plays an important role in achieving Queensland Ballet’s vision to create magic and enrich lives through ballet, in regional Queensland communities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver Queensland Ballet programs in regional areas (schools, community workshops, libraries, hospitals, aged care).
* Collaborate with the Community, Education and Dance Health team to manage stakeholders and ensure schedules, forms, and guidelines are accurate and distributed on time.
* Handle administrative tasks such as public enquiries and promoting program awareness.
* Follow business processes including data entry (participation stats), communications, survey feedback, and relationship management.
* Build and maintain professional relationships across dance, health, and education sectors to support partnerships and community engagement.
* Represent Queensland Ballet professionally in all interactions.
* Assist in developing lesson plans and supporting resources for workshops and programs.
* Perform additional duties as required within skills and experience.
