Due to recent growth in the business, we're seeking a Medical Communications Account Manager to engage in the creation and production of key medical content that provides scientific insight in a compelling format leading to clinical consensus that ultimately delivers commercial outcomes for clients.
Reporting to the Head of Medical Communications, you will:
* Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any project-related inquiries or concerns.
* Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Translate client requirements into clear, actionable project briefs and communicate them effectively to internal teams, including medical writers and designers.
* Manage project timelines proactively to ensure all deliverables are completed and delivered to clients on schedule.
* Regularly communicate project milestones, challenges, and updates to clients to maintain transparency and trust.
* Provide clients with expert advice on scientific content and strategy, ensuring alignment with therapeutic objectives.
* Develop and execute publication plans to support drug launches and lifecycle management, including abstracts, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
* Plan, organise, and oversee medical symposia and conference participation, ensuring seamless execution and engagement.
* Create engaging, scientifically accurate educational materials for digital and multimedia platforms.
* Stay up to date with scientific literature, competitive landscapes, and product developments to enhance client support.

Qualifications and experience:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical communications. Ideally gained in an agency environment, however relevant experience working for a pharmaceutical or medical device client will be considered.
* Exceptional organisation skills: you are adept at managing multiple projects at once ensuring excellent quality of final delivery which is always on time and on budget.
* Proven intuition to anticipate and pre-empt issues and setbacks.
* Proven ability to apply creative problem solving to challenges where they do arise to ensure that the client and the agency's best interests are still served.
* Strong personal impact, presentation and communication skills that builds rapport with clients. You can understand a client challenge quickly and explain what it is you need a client to do and why it is important to them.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* High levels of professional presentation and communication.
* You have a proven well-developed hustle muscle to get tasks and projects completed.
* Communication skills, you are adept at shaping narrative and communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
