About the role
As a Plasterboard Delivery Driver at Hume and Iser Mitre 10, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering plasterboard by hand unload and other building materials to customers across the Bendigo VIC 3550 region. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a growing team in the warehousing, storage and distribution industry.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely loading, transporting and unloading plasterboard and other building materials using the company's delivery vehicles
2. Liaising with customers to ensure on-time deliveries and a high level of service
3. Maintaining detailed records of deliveries and inventory
4. Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
1. A current Medium rigid (MR) driver's licence or equivalent
2. Experience in the transportation and delivery of building materials
3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation and delivery of building materials
4. Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
5. Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently
6. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
7. A physically fit & strong individual to deal with manual labour
8. Ability to handle manual lifting requirements up to 50kg
