Job Summary
This position offers a unique opportunity to support individuals with diverse disabilities in a community-based setting.
* The Disability Support Worker will organize engaging activities and provide personal care services to ensure programs are client-focused and efficient.
* Flexibility is required, with positions based in Mt Waverley and working Monday to Friday.
* A current Victorian Driver's license is mandatory, with the ability to learn minibus driving preferred.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients to achieve their goals and maintain a strong client focus within the team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organize activities such as cooking, painting, or games to engage clients.
2. Assist with personal care services to ensure programs meet client needs.
3. Support clients in community programs and outings.
4. Respond to and resolve client issues and concerns.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Disability Support is highly regarded.
* Experience working with clients with diverse disabilities is essential.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Additional Information
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children's Check are mandatory requirements for this position.
