About Armourguard
Armourguard has been protecting communities across Aotearoa for over 80 years. Our Nelson team supports a wide range of local clients, from key infrastructure to community facilities, meaning no two shifts are the same.
You'll join a supportive team that values initiative, teamwork, and strong communication. As a Security Officer in Nelson, you'll help protect sites and facilities across the region.
Your work may include:
* Monitoring and protecting sites across Nelson and Tasman
* Conducting patrols and responding to alarms
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Engaging with clients and members of the public
* Completing incident reports and safety checks
* Helping prevent vandalism, trespass, and antisocial behaviour
* Providing reassurance and safety for staff and the community. Shifts typically include evenings and overnight work, with casual and part-time opportunities available and the potential for full-time roles as the branch continues to grow.
You'll Bring
* A full, clean NZ driver's licence
* A clean criminal record
* Strong communication and people skills
* Confidence working independently or in a team environment
* Good situational awareness and reliability
* A willingness to learn and develop your skills
* Residency in the Nelson / Tasman area
