IM Partners is recruiting on behalf of SA Construct, a leading and Award Winning South Australian construction company specialising in cladding and roofing.
This business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across South Australia and is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor who can take control of day-to-day site operations, lead crews properly and keep works moving safely, efficiently and to standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is confident on site, understands how to manage trades and subcontractors, and can see a job through from planning to execution without losing control of safety, quality or programme.
The role
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors, planning upcoming works and making sure each stage of the project is delivered properly.
This is not a 'tick and flick' role. It requires someone who can lead from the front, be on tools, maintain standards on site, solve problems early and keep teams accountable.
Key responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site construction activities
* Lead site teams including leading hands, trades, subcontractors and apprentices
* Plan daily works and short-term look-ahead activities
* Monitor progress on site and report to the Project Manager
* Coordinate materials, plant and equipment to maintain workflow
* Run toolbox talks, pre-starts and on-site safety activities
* Maintain site records, site diaries and related project documentation
* Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders as required
* Identify issues early and take practical steps to resolve them
* Monitor workmanship and ensure works are completed to the required quality standard
About you
You are a practical site leader with strong trade and construction experience, good judgement on site and the ability to keep people and works on track.
You will bring
* Demonstrated experience in a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar site-based construction leadership role
* Strong industry experience in cladding, roofing or related commercial construction works
* Ability to coordinate teams, manage priorities and keep projects moving
* Sound understanding of site safety, work sequencing and quality expectations
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
* A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
* The ability to identify problems early and deal with them in a practical way

* Any additional high risk licences or relevant site tickets will be well regarded
Salary range based on merit, commencing at $86,000+++
