The Role
As a Career Coach, you'll support individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career. You'll guide them through the job-readiness journey, helping them build confidence and achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients to understand their goals, strengths, and support needs.
* Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
* Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
* Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
* Meet performance benchmarks.
* Embody values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience in employment services, you're confident supporting people and building trust. You're outcomes-focused, highly organised, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
You enjoy getting to know each client's unique strengths, goals, and challenges so you can coach them effectively. You also engage with employers, understanding their business needs so you can prepare candidates who are the right fit.
You're proactive, professional, and detail-oriented, maintaining accurate records and upholding high service standards. Above all, you lead with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred support.
Essential Criteria
* Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work)
* Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
* Ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
